gallery three Paint the Town
This painting was an entry for the annual Lahaina poster contest. I had always wanted to capture all the historic landmarks of the town and put them in a single painting. This was a very challenging project and it took a couple of starts and a couple of years to finally complete it. it is 30 x 40" acrylic on canvas. It received little notice at the contest, though was later purchased by William Ahmanson of the Ahmanson Foundation and LA County Museum in Los Angeles, California
